The goats cheese and beetroot tart at dinner was a real letdown, i struggled to find any beetroot of substance. i had stuffed aubergine next and found it quite bland and overpriced. breakfast was frustrating because nothing was laid out logically. the continental buffet was separate from the coffee and tea. The toaster and bread were in the corridor. it was a farce, with guests constantly asking where things were.

the room was clean, but the noise from the nearby motorway was quite noticeable, EVEN with the windows closed. i found it hard to relax properly because of the constant hum. also, the breakfast buffet was pretty chaotic during peak hours. it was difficult to find a clean table, and some of the food items ran out quickly.

the rooftop restaurant staff felt so efficient. the fire alarm happened as we packed, but staff handled it well. tony rowe from sandy park brought us tea and pastries in the conference room. staff and fire brigade got us access to our luggage for our flight.
there isnt drinking water in rooms. the water pressure felt weak, like a light rain.

The room had a persistent background noise. It sounded like a fan even with the air conditioning off and this affected my sleep. The staff looked to be in training, and during dinner, there was a sense of being rushed, without an offer of the dessert menu.
